The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) was founded in 1920 to re-invigorate danceteaching within the UK and is now one of the world’s most influential danceeducation and training organisations. Today the RAD counts more than 13,000members and the RAD examination syllabus is taught to more than 225,000 students in 79 countries.
