The MRO supply market has developed and evolved internationally to service all these options.
MRO purchases are necessary to keep the business running seamlessly. In some types of businesses such as those operating out of a commercial office block these may be quite small with many purchases made on a regular basis, whilst in the context of a manufacturing and production environment, MRO is additionally used to describe goods or equipment that are part of a manufacturing process but not incorporated in the final product of that process, and the overall spend can be significant.
