Chris Wardle MSC FIH MCIPS

Chris has worked in the catering sector for over 30 years and his experience covers a range of roles and service sectors including Hotel Food & Beverage (F&B), housekeeping and reception, clubs, event and rail catering. He served for over 20 years as a catering officer in the Royal Air Force in operations director and food supply roles in the UK, Falkland Islands, Bosnia and Afghanistan before retiring in 2012.

Chris is a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, Chairman of the West of England Branch and Member of the Editorial Board of Hospitality Magazine. In addition he was editor of a food magazine for 8 years and is an independent mystery diner for restaurants and hotels.

He holds advanced food hygiene, course design and teaching qualifications from his time as a departmental head at a catering college as well as BSc (Hons) and a related MSc.
