Tony Catling joined ERA in 1999 after a career in Contracts and Procurement within the construction industry. Now based in Buckingham, Tony spent many of his early years working in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, learning as he did so the importance of communications in achieving successful project outcomes.
An impressive start here made him ERA’s Consultant of the Year in 2001 and in the early years with ERA Tony worked to build his business using his broad background and expertise to work across business development, client relationship management and project delivery.
Since 2009 however, Tony has dedicated his ERA role to pure Customer Relationship Management, acting as the main point of contact for both the client and ERA colleagues and the fulcrum around which his meticulously planned projects are delivered to his exacting standards.
Tony is proactive, hands-on and conscientious. His enthusiasm for and understanding of the art of delivering projects and value for customers, is second to none. Some of ERA’s most notable clients speak eloquently of what he brings to the table.
It’s Tony’s job to ensure that wherever the project takes the client he is there with a steady hand on the tiller. If the project encounters any difficulties, Tony’s calm expertise is on hand to steer you back on track. His unique blend of innately understanding a client mind set, together with having delivered more than 50 projects – and that’s just for one of his clients – means that there is not much Tony hasn’t seen and therefore nothing that will not be dealt with care, respect and an experienced hand.
