Tosin is a Procurement and Operations Executive with 20 years experience within several sectors in the UK and internationally. He brings considerable experience in managing complex projects with international partnerships and in interacting with C-levels of large companies, transforming relationships into consolidated collaborations. He seeks to help other business leaders achieve a greater understanding of the complexities of procurement and see opportunities for operational improvements.
His career prior to ERA was wholly with the Dangote Group, a pan-African conglomerate operating in the manufacturing, oil and gas and agribusiness sectors. As Head of Procurement within the Group, he was responsible for delivering a wide range of sourcing solutions across all business units, ranging from capex to commodities, MRO and services as well as shipping (airfreight and seafreight). A seasoned negotiator, Tosin concluded and managed several contracts for general operations as well as major expansion and greenfield projects. He was responsible for spends of +$100m per annum.

Career Highlights:
- Secured strategic supplies of key raw materials and consumables for agrifoods business lines
- Negotiated freight contracts and acted as project lead for coordination and shipment of construction equipment for greenfield fertilizer plant including over 75,000TEUs and 200,000MT of general cargo.
- Led team to consolidate logistics structure of Group business, including introducing ERP system to streamline operations and cut red tape, saving an average of 25% in processing time.
- Co-ordinated aircraft charters to fulfil emergency PPE and other medical supplies during pandemic, finding balance between cost and operational efficiency.
