The Government are concerned there are too many appeals in the rating system, causing unnecessary delays. Therefore in an attempt to improve the review process, they are introducing a new ‘Check, Challenge, Appeal’ (CCA) system.

The Enterprise Act provides the framework for this to take place. The aims are to provide a more streamlined and efficient system in which the key issues are identified early by the ratepayer/agent and are resolved as quickly as possible.
