The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) has released a paper entitled the CIPS Supply Century. Over the past year CIPS has taken a close look into the future of the procurement sector, looking ahead to the next 20 years for the industry and into what challenges and opportunities could arise.

One of the biggest challenges procurement professionals are likely to face over the next few years is helping their organisations become accustomed to Britain’s new role outside the European Union, which could involve striking deals with suppliers outside the EU.
