Expense Reduction Analysts are extremely proud to announce our sponsorship of the Rossendale Valley JFC Wasps Under 11s football team. Iain Clements, a member of our UK network, is the coach of the team and his son always plays for the squad, which hails from the Rossendale area, located north of Manchester and south of Burnley.
The Wasps team is made up of players from year 6 and they play in the Accrington and District Junior Football League, with home games taking place at Haslingden High School.
Starting out in the under 9s category, The Wasps have developed their skills over time, with several members moving into other Rossy Valley teams. The squad has happily welcomed the energy and passion of newer members who have joined this season.
The under 11s category of the league has four teams from the Rossy Valley area: The Wasps, The Tigers, The Stags and The Pumas, who joined the league recently in January 2019.
ERA’s sponsorship of The Wasps provided a fresh new kit for the players, which includes the ERA logo on the front.
“The children and I really appreciate the sponsorship from ERA. The Puma’s are a new team, created in January, and had taken our old kit and so we were using a second-hand pass me down until ERA stepped in with a brand-new kit for the whole squad. As many people know, grassroots football relies on parents and sponsorship in order to financially keep going and allow children to play. I have enjoyed working within ERA for nearly 7 years now and have loved football coaching for the last 3 as a healthy and rewarding activity outside of work. To have ERA support me in my passion is fantastic” said Iain Clement.
ERA support a variety of charitable organisations, helping to raise money internally and externally as part of the ERA Foundation. Due to the global nature of the business, the foundation was setup to enable support for organisations around the world, rather than in individual locations.
