This week Fred Marfleet and the UK support team welcomed students and faculty members from the Titus Centre for Franchising at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Hosted in our dedicated global training facility in Kings Hill, West Malling, our visitors spent the day learning about our business, with members of the sales, marketing, training and operations teams all providing their input and insights.

What is the Titus Centre?

The Titus Centre for Franchising offers academic coursework in franchising leading to a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in franchising. Housed in the Rinker School of Business, the centre also offers certificate programs in a wide variety of topics related to franchising, including how to buy a franchise, how to franchise a business, franchise marketing and sales, franchise operations, franchise field support, international franchise expansion, master franchisee development and more.

Their visit was part of a larger European study tour for franchising and marketing, with the fifteen students and staff members visiting London and Munich to meet with a variety of companies along with the British and German Franchise Associations. The purpose of the trip is to enable students to learn more about successful global organisations and to give them the opportunity to ask questions directly to help them with their own successes in the future.

Speaking about the day, Fred Marfleet said:

“It was a pleasure to have so many students visiting us and our global training facility was definitely the perfect venue for us to share the details and successes of our business. I was thoroughly impressed, the entire audience was engaged, enthusiastic and the quality of questions throughout the day were top class. The group will continue their European study tour before returning back to the U.S.
