Charles Reid joined ERA in 2005, after a 13 year career within the Parcel distribution market with Securicor Omega Express (now Yodel) and latterly ANC Express (now FedEx UK) in a range of Sales and management roles.
Charles’ last corporate role was as Managing Director of an ANC franchise covering Southampton, Winchester, Salisbury and Andover areas.
Charles has delivered consistently for ERA’s clients both as a successful Business Development Manager and Project Specialist.
Charles’s value in working on behalf of clients comes from applying his expertise and market knowledge to ensure that Parcel, Pallet and same day Courier providers offer cost-effective solutions to meet current and future business needs.

Charles’ ability to uncover all the detail ensures he can quantify requirements expertly, delivering clear and precise instructions to the supply market and enabling them to return with lean, optimal pricing.
His expertise also allows him to advise businesses on how best to manage their distribution operations and internal policies and procedures in order to generate financial savings that can be put to use elsewhere in the organisation.
Able to talk to suppliers on an equal footing in their own language, Charles is able to challenge supplier margins, assumptions and contracts, in order they are able to table best value solutions.
