Michael joined Northern Electric in 1984 and over the years held progressively more senior positions within the company. As the threshold for customers entering the competitive market was lowered to include smaller users Michael took responsibility for all commercial and industrial customers in the Northern Electric franchise area.
When Northern Electric was acquired by npower Michael was seconded to assist with the recently acquired independent energy portfolio and a year later took up the post as National Sales Manager of npower’s SME division.
Seeing an opportunity to utilise his wide range of industry knowledge, skills and contacts in assisting customers with all aspects related to the utility market, Michael left npower in 2004 to set his own consultancy which utilises his vast experience to help customers with the complex situations that often arise when dealing with utility’s. The consultancy has always had transparency and integrity at the heart of its operations which has provided its customers with the very best experience in customer service.
Michael’s team of consultants at ERA Utilities are able to provide businesses with significant savings on their utility bills whilst also being available to provide guidance and support on all issues relating to utilities, ranging from legislation and energy efficiency, to dispute resolution and new technologies.
