Nilesh brings 23 years of experience in advising senior management on re-engineering supply chains and performance improvement programmes.
He has completed over 90 successful projects across government, financial services, research & development, education, food and beverage manufacture, retail and engineering across corporate and private equity-owned businesses. He has also worked alongside procurement directors evaluating and improving supply chain performance on a local, regional and international level.
Since joining ERA, Nilesh has led a series of major engagements, including rationalising the supplier-base for a world leading inspection and testing organisation for the growing commodities industry by reducing the number of laboratory consumables and chemicals suppliers and further reducing its costs by £65,312 (20.7%) per annum.
In addition, he led the cost improvement programme for a leading European salad grower and packer across 3 countries and 12 farm locations ensuring that the laboratory product technical testing costs within its 3 business units were streamlined generating a £171,022 (39.1%) saving per annum. The client was impressed with the quick turnaround and smooth rollout plan that was conducted for the entire European-wide operation.
Furthermore, a recent cost improvement programme for a charity with 200 residential care homes requested a review of its medical supplies and clinical/medical infection control costs with over 70 suppliers resulted in a 28.8% savings per annum.
Before ERA, Nilesh worked at senior management level with several major consulting firms, including Andersen Consulting (Accenture), Ernst & Young and Cap Gemini. Prior to joining ERA, he led the East & Central Europe Professional Services division for Société Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques (S.I.T.A).
