Rikesh brings over 18 years of experience in business operations gained as owner and managing director of a chain of retail stores specialising in logistics and business services. Starting as a small concession within an internet café, that sold one pen on the first day of trading, Rikesh successfully grew the organisation to multiple locations throughout central London with a client base ranging from hotels and auction houses to large corporations.
Working in an extremely challenging retail environment and faced with increased online competition, he built the business by prioritising his clients. He established long-term relationships by understanding clients’ needs, offering the right solutions and always ensuring service levels exceeded client expectations.
He is a specialist in international and domestic parcel and postal services and has worked with all major couriers such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, ParcelForce and postal providers including the Royal Mail, DX and Swiss Post. He brings an extensive understanding of complex cost structures, surcharges and service levels – and knows where efficiencies can be realised without sacrificing client service levels.
