Tim Norman

I have over 30 years​ of experience in finance, real estate, private equity, and hospitality.

My experience includes being a Managing Partner at Chayton Capital, a private equity real estate investment firm regulated by the FCA, CEO of Europa Capital’s Emerging Europe Fund (also a private equity real estate investment firm), where I played a central role in the capital raising of the fund.

Previously I was a Senior Banker at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, a supra-national bank set up to invest in Central and Eastern Europe, specialising in the financing of real estate projects, hotels, and investment funds. As part of my role, I was appointed to a number of boards of directors of EBRD’s investee companies.

Earlier banking experience includes being a member of Bank of Boston’s European Management Board and a banker at Bank of America.

Initially, I trained as an accountant and became Finance Director of a private UK property group.

I have an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a B.A. (Hons.) Finance.
