As pressure for immediately available information increases across multiple delivery methods in order for businesses to remain at the cutting edge of their industry, many companies may not have a handle or adequate control on usage and visibility of individual app usage amongst employees. Apps often request access to images, camera, location history files and contacts, and so pose a security threat that is often poorly acknowledged and dealt with even more rarely.
