DHL to Acquire UKmail

How will the acquisition of UKmail by DHL affect customers?

A few years ago DHL bought Securicor Omega. They made the mistake of trying to integrate the two businesses, which simply didn’t work. The UK business was then sold to the Home Delivery Network which became Yodel.

UKmail’s staff are being informed via DHL that DHL do not intend to make the same mistake again, and the two businesses are to be run in tandem specialising in their respective parcel streams. UKmail were putting their Clients international deliveries through DHL anyway.

If this is true, then no disruption to service should be expected.
