Rising Costs strike again: Packaging

According to industry data we will all be seeing a 2nd large increase to corrugate / box prices in October this year. Many clients will already have been approached about this by their suppliers.

This was a cost that has been stable for a couple of years, so the knock-on effect is likely to be keenly felt.

This year alone has seen Kraft increase by nearly 26% between January and August, with test paper and fluting increasing by 18% in the same period.

Organisations will have seen increases around May/June time and will now be bracing themselves for further increases in October, mainly due to increasing demands across the UK and Europe and a shortage of supply.
