Iain offers an in-depth knowledge of the following products and supply markets: Packaging; corrugate, polythene, consumables, cores & pallets, and Workplace Consumables; stationery, PPE, janitorial and washroom supplies. These ‘common consumables’ are often overlooked by in-house buyers focused on direct costs, but with savings rarely below 20% and often over 40%, a review by Iain can quickly deliver significant financial benefits.
Iain has a Business Degree and is CIPS qualified. An energetic project specialist with a real focus on the ‘lifetime cost of delivery’, before joining ERA in 2012 Iain gained many years practical experience in industry, including a period in procurement at Rolls-Royce. In his last role, as Purchasing Manager EMEA, for a large Cable Manufacturer he was responsible for spends of circa £100M /yr.
